The soft plush towel-like microfiber material helps limit creasing in your hair while wearing, meaning it won't ruin your hair while wearing it.

The first time I ever learned about breast cancer was when my mom’s friend Theresa was fighting for her life. Theresa was 42 when she lost her battle with breast cancer. When my parents talk about her, they always recount the beautiful, bright light she was to all her friends and family - including her son Christopher. She graduated in 1981 and was, to no surprise, Homecoming Queen. Theresa worked as a loan officer and real estate appraiser for 19 years and was awarded many top honors for outstanding service. My parents always told me about her love of music and her beautiful tenor voice. She appeared on numerous stages throughout the region as a guest singer with several bands and as soloist for weddings and funerals. She was most well-known for the years she spent as a member of the Rocky Mountain Chamber Singers. After Theresa lost her battle to Breast Cancer, my mom became extremely involved in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, in honor of her. I will never forget this specific picture of my mom and I, after she completed the 3 Day Walk - in honor of her friend. You can truly see the pride on my face - how much I admire my mom. It was the first time I remember feeling an impact of something so heavy, but so meaningful. I began to understand the weight of loss, but also the meaning of legacy, and the power of turning grief into action. She is the reason why I started to care so deeply about this cause, and what opened my eyes to it most. Her life inspired this, and she will forever live on because of it.
